Ever have a project that seemed like a good idea at the time? I built a unit of 20 Beastmen for Imperial Guard using the lower half of the WFB Ungor with the Cadian torso & arms. Now that I look back on the unit – I must have been crazy. For those of you who don’t play Fantasy Battle, Ungors come 6 to a box with 8 Gors. Meaning I’d have to buy 3 boxes (and steal 2 more bodies from somewhere) in order to just get the beastman parts, the Cadian parts would take 2 more boxes.
But they are pretty sweet looking!

Awesome. Brings me back to Rogue Trader-era beastmen. Those were the days!

They would make good stormtroopers too.

It’s actually 12 Gors, 8 Ungors to a box. What you need to do is find someone to go in on it with you; they’d keep the Gors, you the Ungors.

12/8 is a bit better, if only by a little… Just need to do a Gor Khorne Bezerker unit at the same time… But I think my days of multi-box conversions are at an end. I’ll have to photograph my Gor/Bezerker as an example for anyone else who wants to try.

It’s funny, I was actually thinking CSM/Gor as a partner option. I look forward to the pics.

You could probably get the parts on eBay for cheap, dude.

Just checked a few sites. Ebay has no Ungor bits. The two bits stores which carry beastman parts are sold out on Ungors bodies. The two web stores had ungors at about $1 each – no surprise that they are sold out at that price. Talk about bad pricing – should have been twice that.

You are not the only madman. I have renegade infantry of cadians, beastmen legs and Westwind heads,
John
