The Hirst Arts seminar will be returning in 2010 for one session on Saturday. Be sure to pick up your ticket before the seminar sells out.
Hirst Arts terrain seminar at Adepticon
The class focuses on hands-on plaster casting, allowing students to work with a variety of Hirst molds. In addition, each participant will receive a selection of pre-cast bricks to build their own terrain piece during the seminar. Students will be able to choose a selection of either Gothic or Sci-Fi bricks for the building project.
Seminar lecture will cover topics such as:
- plaster types
- how to paint the finished terrain
- how to create your own molds
- basics of resin casting
What is Adepticon? A three day gamer run convention featuring tournaments for 40K, WFB, Lord of the Rings, Epic, Warhammer Ancients and Battle Fleet Gothic. In addition to the competitive events: hobby seminars, game demos, vendor hall, painting competition and a bitz swap are scheduled.
